Links to places we’ve been and things we’ve been up to over the years. Many of these pages were created in html before dynamic content systems like PostNuke and WordPress were available. They look very amateurish as a result but give a good idea of what was possible on the World Wide Web at the time.
Tony’s Place (1996-1999)
This was my first attempt at writing in html. It was fun to do and for me, it was great to have a place where I could let my friends and family know what I was up to via the internet. I first started SadGeezer.Com from here and as such, the pages were also all in html.
Our Wedding Website
This was created in 2000 to help our friends and family around the world keep up to date with what was happening during the planning stage of, what in the end, was quite a modest wedding. We had guests from around the world attending and it was quite complicated for us to keep up with everything. The site has lots of pics taken by our photographer, our mothers and some of our friends.
World Wide Wed (A Lancashire Telegraph article form 2001)
Our wedding generated a lot of interest at the time, even taxi drivers recognised us. The News of the World newspaper wanted to do a story but we declined because of pressure from our families who were convinced that the NotW was out to do a ‘hack’ piece. The Lancashire Telegraph article was ok I guess.

A re-publication of the Halifax Herald (Nova Scotia, Canada) article. News article about a trip to Nova Scotia to meet up with fans of the Sci Fi show, LEXX.
Digital Asset Presentations (as part of CryptoAware)
These were presentations for the British Computer Society – Chartered Institute for IT in Manchester where I am a member of the board. They were introductory in nature and quite well recieved.
