Creamed Kale & Spinach
Easy to make and adds a creamy addition to roast pork or chicken dishes.

Ingredients
- 1 bag kale
- 1 bag spinach
- 1 tub soft cheese garlic and herb
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp cream
- 2 cloves garlic optional
- tbsp grated parmesan cheese optional
Instructions
Prep (approx. 10 mins)
- Wash & de-stalk the Kale
- Wash Spinach
- Grate/press 2 cloves of garlic (optional as the soft cheese has garlic in it)
- Place a large knob of butter in the pan and melt
Cooking (approx. 15 mins - making the kale and spinach wilt)
- Sauté the garlic until fragrant (optional as the soft cheese has garlic in it)
- Add the kale and cook until wilted (stir to make sure that kale is covered in butter or it may burn before it wilts) - Don't be afraid to add more butter if it becomes difficult.
- Add spinach and also ensure it is coated with butter to stop it burning before it is wilted - Don't be afraid to add more butter.
- Add salt and pepper
- Add two tablespoons of cream and stir
- Add two tablespoons of soft cheese and ensure it is properly mixed in with the kale and spinach. Add more to taste if required.
- Grate a little parmesan cheese over to taste
- Serve immediately - or within 10 minutes or so.
