Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chili oil adjust based on your spice preference
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil balances the chili oil flavor
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari for a gluten-free option
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for a vegan option
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil optional, for extra depth
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced (optional)
  • Juice of half a lime for a tangy twist
  • Pinch of salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl or jar, combine chili oil, olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
  • Add the minced garlic (if using) and lime juice.
  • Whisk everything together until well combined. Alternatively, seal the jar and shake vigorously.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, or more chili oil for extra heat.
  • Drizzle over your favorite salad, roasted vegetables, or noodles.
